This is the EDD checkout page, where you can test drive the Easy Digital Downloads EU VAT plugin as follows:

  1. Select any EU country (e.g. France) from the ‘Country’ field and the checkout will update to charge the correct VAT for France at 20%.
  2. Enter a French VAT number – FR27402835961 – into the ‘VAT’ field and click ‘Check’. This confirms that it is B2B transaction and reverse charges the VAT.
  3. Complete your purchase (don’t worry, no payment will be taken). You will then be able to see the VAT information which the plugin adds to the order confirmation page, purchase receipt emails and PDF invoices. (Note: PDF Invoices requires an additional plugin.)
